Due to inundation, a drain on Jalan Gatot Subroto, precisely in front of Hungarian Embassy, Setiabudi, South Jakarta was dredged by 25 freelancers of South Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. since Monday (2/27) night until Tuesday (2/28) dawn.

South Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. Head, Holi Susanto disclosed the drain was dredged, because it often clogged and cause inundation as high as 20 centimeters. 

When being dredged, the officer found a piece of firefighter's hose around 8 meters. Allegedly, it is the cause of inundation in such area.

"We dredge the mud from the drain. And we accidentally found the firefighter's hose there," he told.

Besides freelancer, the mobile pump and irrigation pump were also deployed to push the mud out thus could be picked up ea sily.
